If someone were to ask me if I had a horse I would have to say “no”.  I do not have a horse nor have I ever had a horse, just a love for them.  I spent a lot of time as a child in South Georgia, Vidalia to be exact, at my uncle’s Palomino Ranch and fell in love with horses of all kinds.  I have never been lucky enough to have a place for a horse so I have had to be an admirer from afar.  When I came to Control Specialties in 2000 part of my job was to work on the Equine Website and learn the products.  Not only have I learned the products but I have also met some of the most genuine people I have ever known as Equine customers.  “Horse People” as we call you guys, are a different breed and they love their animals faithfully. 

I was asked when I first joined the Control Specialties family what my passions were.  We were publishing a newsletter for our industrial business and I sat there and thought about it.  My passions at that time have changed from what they are now some what but one or two remain the same.  I will always be an animal lover and I will always love to cook and try new things.  I was offered, as my article in the monthly newsletter, a recipe column.  We have put a link on E-Tackroom that will link to our Industrial Website and also to the archive of my recipes.  I add new ones often and would love any from you that you would like to share. 

We have since started a FaceBook page and I have found a new recipe topic that I love.  I have a dog with severe allergies and I have to be careful with everything he eats so I have looked into making his treats myself.  I will be adding all kinds of yummy equine treats as well as a few for you and your family to the site so please check it out and let me know what you think.  I love hearing from each and every one of you.
